The Garmin Smartphone Link app allows you to connect your compatible Garmin navigator and your Android smartphone or tablet. Using the Garmin Smartphone Link app, you can easily share your current location with your smartphone, and access Garmin Live Services. You can also receive alerts about road closures, accidents, and traffic jams, which will help you to reach your destination faster.
You can choose to purchase the optional Garmin Smartphone Link Premium service for a one-time charge. This service includes more live traffic and parking information, as well as the ability to view and purchase advertising on the navigation device. The service is available for a monthly or yearly subscription.
